European breakdown cover for businesses

European cover from the AA gives your drivers year-round peace of mind when they travel in Europe. Breakdown and recovery options are available throughout the Continent* with English-speaking assistance available whenever you call. If your cars or light vans regularly travel to Europe, you can add Fleet Europe to your total Fleetwide cover.

24-hour English-speaking emergency helpline

Help within the geographical limits of the cover.

Roadside assistance

£250 maximum. Includes consideration of labour costs up to £100 and location and despatch of spare parts.

Emergency car hire and alternative travel

Up to £750 maximum if repairs cannot be completed within eight hours (up to £75 per day for car hire costs).

Emergency accommodation

Up to £400 maximum if repairs cannot be completed within eight hours. We will cover reasonable additional accommodation costs, over and above budgeted costs (up to £25 per person per night).

Vehicle recovery to the UK

If repairs cannot be completed in time for your planned return, we will arrange and cover costs for the unaccompanied return of your vehicle to your UK home or appointed garage (up to the current market value). Or, once repairs are completed we will arrange with you and pay reasonable costs, for one person to return and collect it. Or, if the only driver is declared medically unfit to drive, we will provide a replacement driver to bring the vehicle back.

Legal expenses

Up to £25,000 maximum for advice and appropriate representation on uninsured vehicle accident claims and defence of a motoring offence allegation (excludes fines).
