Tradesmen Insurance
If you're self-employed or you carry out contracts on third-party sites, this business insurance package is specifically designed for you. It's aimed at small businesses with up to eight people. If you own your own business or you're a sole trader, such as a plumber, electrician, builder or carpenter, this cover is for you.
The tradesmen policy provides public liability as standard, with a wide range of optional extras, so you can choose cover that best meets your business needs.

- Employers' liability – covers your legal liability for permanent employees injured at work
- 'All risks' on tools and equipment – additional insurance for hand tools, portable power tools and portable electronic equipment
- Plant – covers plant you own or hire in, plus stock on your own site or in transit
- Contract works – covers the contract works and materials on site or in transit
