Home Legal Expenses gives you access to a legal helpline and legal expenses cover.

If your case has a likely 51% and above chance of success, Home Legal Expenses can provide up to £100,000 towards legal costs when pursuing or defending certain legal disputes. And it also gives you access to a range of online legal documents

Home Legal Expenses is optional for Silver and Gold home insurance, but is included as standard with Platinum home insurance and Platinum contents insurance. You can add Home Legal Expenses when you get a quote.

Home Legal Expenses can help with disputes relating to:

• Death, personal injury and clinical negligence
  Cover for legal costs if you, or someone covered by the policy, is injured because of someone else's negligence.

✘ Claims that don't have a likely 51% and above chance of success.

• Contract disputes
  Cover for legal disputes relating to buying or selling personal goods and services, or the home insured by The AA.

  Cover for disputes relating to land or buildings of the home insured by The AA, such as physical damage, trespass or nuisance.
