What does buildings insurance cover?
It covers the structure of your home against a range of incidents such as fire, theft, storm, flood, burst pipes, subsidence, and explosion, covering the cost of rebuilding or repairing your home.
Permanent fixtures within your home, like built-in furniture in the kitchen or bedroom and your central heating system are covered. Outside of your home – outbuildings, patios, paths, drives, walls, gates, hedges and fences are also covered.
