Enjoying a stunning elevated location overlooking Tobermory harbour, this salmon-hued hotel close to the fishing pier is a jewel of a place. The homely interiors are a delight and the place is cleverly laid out to lead you from the bar and conservatory into the suavely furnished dining room. Chef Jo Currie does a fine job of showcasing Mull produce, with local crab cakes served with rocket and a zingy chilly caper sauce making for a satisfying starter. A precisely cooked roast saddle of Ardnamurchan venison with haggis parcel, dauphinoise potatoes and juniper gravy is a typical main course.
