A gigantic venue of 200 covers, there's a real vibrancy about this place. Tender salmon tikka are redolent of fenugreek and marinated in yogurt lit up with garam masala. A signature starter comes in the form of tandoori ostrich, roasted in garlic and red chilli. Meats benefit from the tenderising influence of slow cooking, as when lamb shank falls obligingly from its bone into cardamom-laced sauce, accompanied by spinach-topped masala mash, while king prawns are marinated in onion-seeded yogurt and chargrilled with peppers. There's a taster trio of desserts, comprised of sticky gulab jamun, bread-and-butter pudding, and a shot glass of phirni, a saffron milk pudding garnished with pistachios.
