Salt and Honey

28 Sussex Place, LONDON, W2 2TH

1 rosettes

A neighbourhood bistro in the hinterland between Paddington and Hyde Park, Salt and Honey indicates little allegiance to any cuisine in particular, preferring to concentrate on delivering good quality seasonal UK produce, plus some stuff shipped over from mainland Europe, in appealing seasonal combinations. If you're looking for a box, it probably shows more Italian influence than anything else. In a mellow, simply decorated room with tree-themed paintings and a few retro touches, expect salmon cured in lemongrass and Manuka honey to precede sea bream with a mash enriched with truffle, plus clams and parsley pesto. Finish with a set lemon crème with granola praline and meringue.
