In an unassuming whitewashed terrace on a quiet residential street close to Earl's Court there's some seriously good Chinese cooking going on. It's a bijou room with maroon cloths on closely set tables where, likely as not, you'll get a warm reception from the owner. Expect accomplished cooking and clean, clear flavours in a good range of dishes including dim sum and classic Pekinese and Cantonese choices. Everything is prepared to a high standard, be they barbecue spare ribs, salt and chilli soft-shelled crab, mixed seafood in 'birds nest', or sea spicy chicken.
