10-11 Lancashire Court,
New Bond Street,
Mayfair,
LONDON,
W1S 1EY
As the name implies, this stylish restaurant and bar comes delightfully secreted away in a narrow cobbled mews just off Bond Street. There's a buzzy, eye-catching cocktail bar with roll-back doors and terrace table on the Georgian building's ground level, a sassy lounge in the basement, and, on the first floor, the more intimate restaurant. A bright and airy space, it's certainly chic and cool and white - walls, linen and leather seating. The kitchen delivers an equally light, modern touch, with an accessible, crowd-pleasing brasserie menu of simple, accomplished seasonal dishes. Take pan-fried Brixham lemon sole with beurre noisette and capers, or Dedham Vale dry-aged beef fillet served with chips and béarnaise. Fixed-price menus offer great Mayfair value.
