This elegant eatery on the fringes of Covent Garden features a grand staircase, winding up from the uptempo street-level Martini Bar, while corniced high ceilings tower over the airy dining room, where chairs and banquettes in grey and lemon cut bags of contemporary swagger. The kitchen's repertoire of Stateside cooking comes equally well dressed, with prime steaks of USDA beef and Maine lobster taking top billing, otherwise smoky BBQ lamb fillet, teamed with samphire and rocket salsa verde or blackened salmon with jambalaya risotto, cress salad and tomato jam, catch the eye. Favourites, like New York vanilla cheesecake or Key Lime tart wink at the finish, while cracking wines give the Americas top billing.
