Situated in the audaciously grand St Ermin's Hotel, this is a surprisingly modern venue with a soothing colour scheme, striking contemporary artworks, and designer furniture. Formerly the haunt of Adam Handling, who left in March 2016 to launch his own place, the restaurant at St Ermin's has a new turn of direction as the Caxton Grill with a modern European menu and premium steaks cooked on the Josper grill. A dedication to sustainability and sourcing local ingredients is most demonstrably shown by its interior green wall of seasonal herbs and plants as well as the honey made by its own bees on the hotel's roof. There's also an outdoor terrace overlooking the courtyard where champagne cocktails and European and Asian bento boxes are up for grabs, while the bar has a fine collection of whiskies.
