12a Newburgh Street, LONDON, W1F 7RR

1 rosettes

Trendily tucked away in a cobbled, 'off-the-radar' lane behind Carnaby Street, Antidote offers the perfect fix for organic/biodynamic wine lovers and foodies alike. Upstairs, above its bustling wine bar, the dining room is a relaxed oasis, with a fashionable pared-back look of grey walls, floorboards, funky silver bistro chairs, and dangling Edison-style light bulbs. The kitchen delivers imaginative modern stuff such as sake-cured mackerel with walnut milk, apple and calcot (a type of Spanish onion), or an equally creative Brussels sprout number with almonds and Montgomery cheddar. Move on to tender roe deer with fermented cabbage, and finish with clementine and goats' curd tart.
