Glengarry Castle Hotel

1 rosettes

The Glengarry, overlooking Loch Oich, is a typical slice of Victorian Scottish baronial, built in the 1860s and furnished in the grand manner. Spotless white linen and quality glassware glow beneath the chandelier in the opulent dining room, where lightly modernised traditional fare is the order of the day. Haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky and redcurrant sauce makes an appropriate starter and could be the prelude to rack of lamb with onion and oatmeal stuffing, sweet onion jus and château potatoes. Desserts are of the likes of pear frangipane tart with pannacotta ice cream flavoured with raspberry and vanilla.
