The Cadogan Arms

The Street, INGHAM, Bury St Edmunds, IP31 1NG

1 rosettes

Flexibility is key in this smartly revamped former coaching inn, whether you just want a jar of real ale in the bar, a grazing board to snack on, or a full-blown meal. The decor is stylish with subdued lighting, upholstered sofas and chairs, and the kitchen cooks with an eye to the seasons and local producers. The menu includes pub classics such as fish and chips, burgers and steaks and if you fancy something more ambitious, you might start with Cromer crab and smoked salmon doughnuts with saffron mayonnaise, followed by Blythburgh pork fillet with apple, celery, walnuts and gnocchi. Pudding could be apple and cinnamon brioche ravioli.
