A lively little fish restaurant run by the fishmonger next door sounds an irresistible proposition, and the skilled team in the kitchen know how to handle the peerless piscine produce, turning out uncomplicated dishes with pin-sharp technique and timings. Super-fresh yellowfin tuna carpaccio is helped along by garlic olive oil and balsamic, while a whole grey sole is grilled to perfection and served on the bone, together with classic brown shrimp butter with lemon, peas and spring cabbage. There's no going wrong with the fish stew either, which delivers generous chunks of fish in a deeply flavoured sauce with saffron rouille, croûtons and gruyère.
