Translating loosely as 'inn of taste', this Haymarket award-winner has more than a hint of an Italian domestic kitchen about it. The mixed Scottish seafood feast is a starter full of the freshest squid, king prawns, langoustines, scallops and more, with white wine and a kiss of chilli. Or there's a main course of linguine with grilled half lobster, Vesuvian and sun-dried tomatoes and, again, a hint of chilli. From chef-patron Rosario's birthplace comes Neapolitan meatloaf stuffed with egg, parmesan, smoked mozzarella and ham, drowned (his word) in a rich tomato passata and basil sauce. Finish with cannolo Siciliano - crispy pastry filled with sweet cheese, infused with icing sugar.
