The Assheton Arms

1 rosettes

Although decidedly inland, this pub's ownership by Joycelyn Neve's Seafood Pub Company guarantees excellent Fleetwood-landed fish and seafood, although your dining choice extends way beyond what a trawler can net. Thus, while one possible starter is devilled crab, salmon and brown shrimp salad, another might be steamed Korean buns with crispy duck and spring onions. Mains too offer plenty of variety, such as hake fillet with udon noodles and crispy seaweed, Goan king prawn curry, toro pie filled with slow-cooked beef and chorizo, and Szechuan spiced chicken with egg-fried rice. For something light to follow, try passionfruit and blackberry mess with baby meringues.
