Best Western Lee Wood Hotel

The Park, BUXTON, SK17 6TQ

1 rosettes

The Lee Wood is a traditional family-run hotel in the historic town of Buxton. The Georgian building stands in pretty gardens which you can gaze over from Elements, the conservatory restaurant. The menu is loosely British in style; classic flavour combinations put together using good quality British produce. Start perhaps with pan-seared scallops with apricot black pudding and caramelised shallot foam. For main course there might be Gressingham duck with creamed Savoy cabbage, beetroot purée and gratin potatoes, and to finish, a delicious chestnut and honey tart with yoghurt ice cream and granola crunch.
