Restaurant Bar 1650

Ye Olde Bell Hotel, BARNBY MOOR, Retford, DN22 8QS

1 rosettes

This roadside hotel and restaurant just off the A1 has business bases covered, beauty therapies aplenty, and lots of room for functions. When it comes to dining, there's a bistro in the St Leger bar, but the main event is the oak-panelled Restaurant Bar 1650, with its own art deco-style bar area and modern chandeliers to add a touch of glamour. Start with potted pork with beetroot textures and an apple lolly, or an indulgent truffle brle with goats' cheese vol-au-vent. Move on to rainbow trout with sweet and sour fennel, or steak cooked on the grill, and finish with deconstructed blueberry cheesecake.
