The Manor Arms

The Village, ABBERLEY, WR6 6BN

2 rosettes

Originally dating from the 17th century, today's pub is a valuable part of the community, appreciated by locals and visitors alike (note the six classy bedrooms). The traditional decor inside is entirely in keeping and the finish is smart but informal. Lunch focuses more on pub classics - fish pie, say, or the varied delights of the farmhouse board - while in the evening you might start with ballotine of rabbit with pickled vegetables and move on to Dover sole with champagne sauce. There are also crowd pleasers like of Thai red duck curry and sausage and mash available in the evening.
