Lee Cash and Hamish Stoddart created the innovative Peach Pub Company over a decade ago and The Rose & Crown - their flagship venture - continues to thrive. A vibrant and stylish gastro-pub in the heart of Warwick, it has a laid-back vibe and a contemporary look that sits comfortably with period features and homely touches such as leather sofas and coffee tables with the day's newspapers. The pub opens early for breakfast (free toast), and offers a modern pub menu that's served all day. Deli boards offer small tapas-style portions of cheeses, charcuterie and fish, and the seasonal menu also offers a wide selection of dishes to suit the occasion and time of day. There are breakfast sarnies, small or large plates of risotto, filled herb pancakes and salads, then main dishes like organic salmon fishcake with watercress and gremolata; and bangers and mash. Puddings may include crème brûlée, or ginger and orange sponge with custard. A beer festival is usually held during May.
