The Inn at Penallt

PENALLT, NP25 4SE

Built as a farmhouse in the 16th century, Bush Farm started serving cider, ale and perry in the early 1800s before becoming the Bush Inn in the 1890s. Spruced up and renamed in 2010 by new owners Jackie and Andrew Murphy, the pub maintains its time-honoured reputation for serving quality local ales (Kingstone & Celt Brewery) and ciders (Ty Gwyn), alongside good bar food. Tuck into Usk Valley beef and vegetable stew with herb dumplings in the bar, or Brecon venison with port and redcurrant sauce in the restaurant.
