Creggans Inn

Set between the woods and the water, visitors to the centuries-old loch-side hotel can look forward to losing themselves in the astounding view across Loch Fyne. The reputation of the area's provender is well-established; this is matched by beers from the Fyne microbrewery at the head of the loch. A pint of one of the Fyne ales and a seat on the terrace is a restful way to pass time while considering the menu's seasonally adjusted, daily-changing dishes. Eat outside, dine in the bistro-style MacPhunn's bar or in the more formal Loch Fyne dining room; try Ramsay haggis, creamy mash, buttered neeps and whisky sauce; local venison sausages, leek and smoked bacon mash, and root vegetables with honey; or West Coast fillet of salmon, crushed potato, spinach with white wine and prawn sauce.
