The Stables Pub and Restaurant

Beamish Hall Hotel, Beamish, STANLEY, DH9 0YB

The Stables' stone-floored, beamed bar is the perfect spot to sample the pub's own real ales, brewed on site at their micro-brewery. The beer festival in the third week in September will get you even more closely acquainted. The pub has been creatively moulded from the estate workshops at a stunning country mansion and has excellent accommodation. Regional producers supply the best local ingredients from which are crafted exemplary meals. Snack on smoked ham and curried risotto, or sink into slow-roast belly pork with black pudding, creamed leeks, red wine sauce and English mustard cream.
