Old Court House Inn

St Aubin's Harbour, ST AUBIN, JE3 8AB

The original courthouse at the rear of the property dates from 1450 and was first restored in 1611. Beneath the front part are enormous cellars where privateers stored their plunder. Three bars offer food, and there are two restaurants with terrific views over the harbour, plus an attractive courtyard. There's lots of locally caught fish on the menus of course, plus hand-dived scallops, moules marinière and Jersey lobster. Real ales include some from the Jersey Brewery; they can be enjoy in the courtyard or deck over the harbour in warmer weather.
