This old stone inn is set in a dramatically beautiful location at Cotton Stones and enjoys stunning views of the Ryburn Valley. Inside there are stone-flagged floors and real fires, while the cosy bar serves Timothy Taylor Landlord and Golden Best plus Tetley Bitter, as well as a range of cool-serve lagers and over 50 Belgian bottled beers (each served with its own individual glass). Fresco Italian Restaurant features a wood-burning pizza oven and a fantastic fish display counter which is very popular with diners. Start with shell roasted queen scallops cooked in the wood-burning oven with fresh herbs, Parmesan and parma ham, or mango and smoked chicken salad with mustard dressing, followed by a steak, pasta or pizza from a wide selection. There's also a good choice of vegetarian dishes such as sun blushed tomato and leek capellini. A private function/dining room is available, and in fine weather there's outside seating for 200 people.
