The Halfway House Inn

Bastonford, POWICK, WR2 4SL

Standing halfway between Worcester and Malvern on the main road, this aptly named Georgian free house boasts winter log fires and a mature shady garden at the side. Steaks and seafood are a speciality, but the menu also features a good choice of fresh, locally sourced hot dishes such as pork medallions and black pudding on mashed potatoes with creamy, coarse-grain mustard. The extensive lunchtime menu offers salads, sandwiches and jacket potatoes, as well as hot dishes and a range of ploughman's.
