Founded in 1995, Davis's Brewing Company is housed in the three-storey Victorian grain store next to Oakham railway station. Finest quality hops and ingredients are used to make the beers that can be sampled in the pub's Tap Room. Food is wholesome and straightforward, with the ales playing an important part in recipes for steamed fresh mussels; cheddar and ale soup; Quenby Hall stilton and Rutland Panther pâté; and beef and Panther stew. A full diary of events includes live music and the annual August Bank Holiday beer festival.
