The Radnor Arms

NUNTON, Nr Salisbury, SP5 4HS

Not far from Salisbury this is a popular pub in the centre of Nunton dating from around 1750. In 1855 it was owned by the local multi-talented brewer/baker/grocer, and bought by Lord Radnor in 1919. It has recently been refurbished and became a free house in early 2012. Bar snacks are supplemented by an extensive fish choice and daily specials, which might include braised lamb shank, wild mushroom risotto, turbot with spinach or Scotch rib-eye fillet, all freshly prepared. There is a summer garden with rural views to enjoy, and the pub hosts an annual pumpkin competition in October.
