Marble Arch

73 Rochdale Road, MANCHESTER, M4 4HY

A listed building with a strikingly original interior, the Marble Arch is a fine example of Manchester's Victorian heritage. Famous for its sloping floor, glazed brick walls and barrel-vaulted ceiling, the Marble Arch was designed by theatrical Victorian, Alfred Darbyshire. It was built in 1888 for the award-winning organic Marble Brewery and called the Wellington. These days there are six regular and eight seasonal house beers on offer. A comprehensive menu of hot and cold food is freshly prepared on the premises and served daily from lunchtime until mid evening.
