Ye Olde Mitre
1 Ely Court,
Ely Place,
By 8 Hatton Garden,
LONDON,
EC1N 6SJ
Built in 1546 in the shadow of the palace of the Bishops of Ely, this quirky historic corner pub is still technically part of Cambridgeshire. Choose from at least five real ales in the magnificent wood-panelled rooms, with a limited range of bar snacks that includes toasted sandwiches, pork pies, scotch eggs, sausages and gherkins. Beer festivals are held in May, August and December, but the pub is closed at weekends and Bank Holidays.
