The Prince Albert

163 Royal College Street, LONDON, NW1 0SG

Picnic tables furnish the small paved courtyard, while the Prince Albert's wooden floors and bentwood furniture make a welcoming interior for customers and their four-legged friends. Real ales there are, but you may fancy a refreshing San Miguel for a change, and wine drinkers have plenty of choice. Bar snacks range from home-roasted nuts to crispy salt and pepper chicken wings, which also feature on the great-value set menu; these can be followed by Old English pork sausages or beer-battered haddock. Two or three times a year the pub holds a three-day real ale festival.
