The Dartmouth Arms

The long-vanished Croydon Canal once ran behind this transformed old pub, and you can still see the towpath railings at the bottom of the car park. Smart bars serve snacks, traditional real ales, continental lagers, cocktails, coffees and teas, while the restaurant might offer devilled ox kidneys with black pudding or smoked haddock tart for starters, and mains might be pork belly with cannellini beans or scallops with cauliflower purée and crispy pancetta.
