The Bolingbroke Pub & Dining Room

172-174 Northcote Road, LONDON, SW11 6RE

Named after the first Viscount Bolingbroke, who managed to be both brilliant politician and reckless rake, this refined dining pub stands in a road known colloquially as 'Nappy Valley', due to its popularity with well-heeled young families. While it caters admirably for children, adults can enjoy the modern British menus offering pan-roasted hake; rabbit stuffed with spinach and hazelnut; and sunflower, mint, pea and shallot ravioli, alongside a bar menu with tempura-battered mackerel and chips; and traditional ploughman's. Weekend brunch includes boiled egg and soldiers for babies. On handpump is Timothy Taylor.
