Greenwich Union Pub

56 Royal Hill, LONDON, SE10 8RT

In the heart of Greenwich's bustling Royal Hill, this pub's comfortable leather sofas and flagstone floors help to keep its original character intact. Interesting craft beers from the award-winning Meantime Brewing Company, along with lagers from around the world and a beer garden, make this a popular spot. The food is an eclectic range of traditional and modern dishes drawn from around the world. Everything is freshly prepared and sourced locally where possible: fish comes straight from Billingsgate Market, while bread comes from the Greenwich itself. The lunch menu includes sandwiches, and favourites like home-made 28-day-aged Aberdeen Angus beefburger, while at dinner you could opt for Welsh rarebit followed by kedgeree or three bean chilli. All courses, including dessert, can be accompanied by a recommended beer, so you could round off with sticky toffee pudding and a glass of Meantime Chocolate Porter.
