Coopers Arms

Tucked off the King's Road and close to the river, this pub sees celebrities rubbing shoulders with the aristocracy and blue collar workers. The stuffed brown bear, Canadian moose and boar bring a character of their own to the bar, where at least five real ales grace the pumps. Food is served here and in the quiet upstairs dining room, with a focus on fish and steak. The menu also offers a great home-made burger, pie of the day and salads. The interesting sharing platters include mini pies, vegetarian meze and charcuterie. There are quiz and live music nights, as well as a May beer festival.
