The Sair Inn

You won't be able to eat here, but this old hilltop ale house has enough character in its four small rooms to make up for that. Three are heated by hot (landlord Ron Crabtree's word) Yorkshire ranges in winter. Ron has brewed his own beers for 25 years and much sought after they are by real ale aficionados. Imported German and Czech lagers are available too. In summer the outside drinking area catches the afternoon sun and commands views across the Colne Valley.
