The Trumpet Inn
Description
This traditional black and white free house dates back to the late 14th century. The former coaching inn and post house takes its name from the days when mail coaches blew their horns on approaching the crossroads. The cosy bars feature a wealth of exposed beams, with open fireplaces and a separate dining area. Light sandwich lunches and salad platters complement main dishes like salmon fishcakes; kleftiko; or vegetable stroganoff.
