The George

Watling Street, KILSBY, CV23 8YE

A warm welcome and great local atmosphere characterise this village pub, which has a traditional public bar and a high-ceilinged wood-panelled lounge opening into a smarter but relaxed area with solidly comfortable furnishings. The lunch bar menu includes sandwiches, filled baguettes, faggots with spring onion mash and mushy peas; and home-made fishcakes. The evening menu majors on home-made, hearty dishes such as beef and real ale shortcrust pie; lasagne; and the generous chicken and bacon Caesar salad. A children's menu is always available. There is an attractive garden for sunny days.
