The Land of Liberty, Peace and Plenty

Long Lane, HERONSGATE, Rickmansworth, WD3 5BS

Named after a Chartist settlement established in Heronsgate in 1847, this inn is believed to have the second longest pub name in the British Isles. A traditional pub with a large garden and covered decked area, the cosy single bar has a buzz of conversation from locals. The focus here are the real ales and real ciders, all of which can be enjoyed with bar snacks of pork pies, pasties and pots of nuts. Please note that no children or the use of mobile phones are allowed in the bar. Regular events and beer festivals are held during the year.
