The Scotsmans Pack Country Inn

Set in the beautiful Hope Valley on one of the old packhorse trails used by Scottish 'packmen', this traditional inn is a short walk from Hathersage church and Little John's Grave. The pub offers hearty dishes such as lamb's liver and bacon or rabbit casserole, best washed down with a pint of Jennings Cumberland. Weather permitting, head outside onto the sunny patio, next to the trout stream. A perfect base for walking and touring the Peak District, it has five individually designed en suite bedrooms for those who wish to stay.
