The Calveley Arms
Description
Built as a coaching in the early 17th century, the smart black-and-white pub stands opposite the church with views of the distant Welsh hills. Chock full of old timbers, jugs, pots, pictures, prints and ornaments, the rambling bars provide an atmospheric setting in which to sample some good pub food. From salads and sandwiches, the menu extends to seasonal game, quality steaks, lamb cutlets, lobster, and roast rib of beef on Sundays.
