The Shore Bar & Restaurant

Part of this historic pub was a 17th-century lighthouse and, as befits its location beside the Port of Leith, it has a fine reputation for fish and seafood. Both restaurant and bar serve food all day from noon, with the carte changing as and when fresh produce arrives. Typical of the snacks are smoked mackerel pâté, and ham hash cake with free-range poached egg and hollandaise. For a main course expect the likes of the Shore Bar's fish pie, or pork belly with snail scampi and boulangère potatoes.
