Speedwell Bar

Popularly known as Mennies, this surviving Edwardian pub is listed for an interior that has no need of imported nicknacks to give it period character. The same family owned it for 90 years, until the present landlord's father bought it in 1995. The bar offers 157 whiskies. A kitchen would be good, but since the pub is listed this is impossible, so signs encourage customers to bring in pies from next door.
