The Mill Arms

This attractive 18th-century inn is situated in the heart of the Test Valley and close to the River Test, one of the finest chalk streams in the world. Not surprisingly, the pub is popular with fishermen the world over. A traditional country inn with wood and stone floors, oak beams and open fires, the menus combine old favourites and contemporary dishes. An excellent grill menu showcases local produce including buffalo and rare-breed pork, and wood-fired pizzas are available to eat in or takeaway. There is a beer festival in May.
