The Clachan Inn

2 Main Street, DRYMEN, nr Glasgow, G63 0BG

Established in 1734, The Clachan Inn is believed to be the oldest licensed pub in Scotland; this quaint white-painted cottage on the West Highland Way was once owned by Rob Roy's sister. Family-run for over 30 years the bar stocks frequently changing guest ales while a warming log fire keeps things cosy. More comfort comes with the food - choose from pub favourites such as deep-fried potato skins with dips; jumbo sausage with baked beans and chips; and home-made toffee sponge pudding.
