Pen-y-Bryn
Description
Don't be put off by the simple exterior of this 1970s building - the interior has character in spades, with oak floors, open fires, rugs and old furniture. The atmosphere is friendly and chatty, with local ales, Inch's Stonehouse cider, and good, straightforward food cooked and served throughout the day. Outside, the stunning rear garden and terrace have panoramic views over the sea and the Great Orme headland. The modern British menu offers a great choice of sandwiches and 'bread things' like sausage bap with mustard fried onions; warm crispy lamb and feta cheese wrap; and a simple smoked salmon sandwich with lemon and chive cream cheese. Main course options range from green pea and mint risotto with char-grilled asparagus and Parmesan, to slow-roasted belly pork with roasted sweet potatoes, chorizo and spiced apple sauce. Leave space for strawberries with vanilla cream and shortbread, or white chocolate and raspberry trifle.

terrible. no customer service !a big canteen with pretentiousness oozing out of the fake floorboards. find a table yourself! order drinks yourself. order food from the bar yourself. finish food and walk again to the bar, queue, and eventually order a dessert. oh did i say i needed more drinks? yep - walk over to the bar again and queue again and eventually order. rubbish
