The Crown Inn

Historic inn, dating back over 700 years, with lots of charming features, including ancient panelling, open fires, distinctive carvings, huge beams, and eight comfortable bedrooms. Reliable food ranges from pork and leek sausages served with mash and onion gravy or home made chicken and mushroom pie on the bar menu; to monkfish wrapped in Parma ham served with confit tomato and pepper salad or cumin spiced rump of lamb on butternut squash with spinach and a rosemary jus on the à la carte.
