Old Harkers Arms
Description
A buzzy meeting place with the feel of a gentlemen's club, this former Victorian warehouse on the Shropshire Union Canal is one of Chester's more unusual pubs. The bar offers over 120 malt whiskies, 24 wines by the glass, and hand pumps dispensing four regular and six guest ales. The daily-changing menu runs from light dishes such as breaded tiger prawns with pineapple salsa, through to main courses of braised lamb shoulder or Gloucester Old Spot sausages.
