The Inn for All Seasons

The Barringtons, BURFORD, OX18 4TN

This 17th-century inn has a long history and once witnessed the dispatch of Cotswold stone for buildings like St Paul's Cathedral. The pub's unusual name was chosen by former owner Jeremy Taylor, who had worked on the film A Man for All Seasons as a horse choreographer. The interior is a veritable treasure trove of ancient oak beams, leather chairs and interesting memorabilia. The bar offers St Austell ales, as well as an extensive wine list. A change of hands in late 2016.
